Livish Woodwork is the product of a native Memphian, Liv Green. She optimized a turn of events during the 2020 pandemic by taking advantage of her time-off, exploring her passion for designing and creating functional wood pieces. Livish Woodwork has since operated as a home-based business, catering to customers both locally and across the country. All custom pieces are handcrafted (with the aid of necessary tools), well-made, and inspired by patrons and the materials used.

Specialty:

I have a knack for optimizing tight spaces with space savvy designs of any custom piece. Also, with experience and training in ergonomic assessments, I'm able to consult clients and design pieces based on one's specific physical or functional needs.

Why I love what I do:

I have the absolute pleasure of waking up everyday with a new challenge! One that I am fully immersed in- and all of my talents and skills have a place to roam without restriction. It is also gratifying to produce a custom piece that someone has an appreciation and use for.

When I'm not working:

I am a foodie to my core! Although, some workdays I neglect to get a lunch! However, I love supporting local restaurants in the city, especially for brunch. As a hobby, there was a time that I would perform with a band on Beale Street or inside venues as a drummer and singer, However, I have since laid the mic and drumsticks to rest. Meanwhile, I take opportunities to enjoy and support live music performed by some of Memphis's very own artists!

Mission

Livish Woodwork seeks to inspire idealists to embrace their creativity and make thoughtful choices when selecting handcrafted items. Creating conversational pieces that serve a purpose and functionality while expressing one's unique individuality.

In Loving Memory

Momma Easter

Dear Momma Easter, You are the true hands of my creativity- not only of tangible things but also by way of building a foundation for the family. You were like the glue that held it all together, and decorated souls one by one with your love. You too had a gift with your hands that you in turn used to demonstrate relentless acts of service through music, food ministry, charity work, and youth outreach. You also had a gift of telling folktales and stories that kept us engaged and furthermore taught us life lessons that will never be forgotten. Though you are remembered by your gentle spirit, you also exhibited an inconceivable strength that we all strive to achieve. Thank you for your laboring hands and love. With Love, Your Family
